These bike tours will allow you to check off multiple must-see spots in Santa Barbara while getting some fresh air and fitness.

Private or Group - You Pick!
The Private Electric Bike Tour is 2.5 hours long give or take 15 minutes. It is a private experience- Just your party and the guide! It can be tailored to you and your group's desires and will allow your group to have a customizable experience. You can let your guide know your preferences for what type of Santa Barbara sightseeing piques your interest. Our guides are so familiar with the lay of the land, they will cater the route to your groups' liking. Hoping for a Santa Barbara History focus with stops at famous landmarks? Or more interested in hearing from a local about the best places to enjoy food and beverage while in town? Perhaps a brisk jaunt into the hills of Montecito is more your speed? Our Private Electric Bike Tour gives you the flexibility to choose your own adventure your own!
Our Group E Bike Tour allows you to book a tour with other locals and travelers. This is a great option if you are visiting Santa Barbara on your own and would like to join others in an informative adventure. On the Group Electric Bike Tour our guide will lead you on a standard route that covers the best of Santa Barbara within 2-2.5 hours. Typically we will leave our shop and ride along the beachfront using the bike-friendly Cabrillo Multi-Use Path. There are multiple points of interest along this 5-mile path (marked below). State Street is usually included in the route as well, with a 10-block stretch of promenade for cyclists and pedestrians. This scenic tour will provide you with knowledge about Santa Barbara, tips on where to go to make the most of your stay, and insta-worthy photos.
Electric Bike Tour Specifics:
The bike fitting and safety orientation at our shop takes about 15 minutes for the group; the tour begins directly after. Riders must be 4’10 and up due to bike size availability. Site stops may include Butterfly Beach, Andrée Clark Bird Refuge, The Santa Barbara Mission, The Arlington Theatre, The Granada, The Santa Barbara Courthouse, Stearn's Wharf, and the Waterfront. (Bring your camera!) The Electric Bike Tour Route will follow portions of this mapped course. (Route will vary based on the group's pace and riding level). For your safety helmets are both required and provided on this bike tour.
About the Electric Bikes:
We offer Electra Townie Go's and Specialized pedal assist E-Bikes with these Santa Barbara Electric Bike Tours. While you will be pedaling, the customizable pedal assist settings allow riders of all abilities and fitness levels to participate. For those who would like or require an electric bike with throttle power, we do have a limited selection of Radpower and Aventon Electric Bikes available. If you have a preference to use a specific bike on your tour, please mention this in the notes when booking and we will reserve them if available. Electra Townie Go-
This is the bike model most commonly used on our Electric Bike Tour. It is casual and comfortable, perfect for a leisurely-paced tour along the beachfront and downtown. The differently levels of pedal-assist will kick in as you pedal.

Specialized Turbo Como 3.0-
The Specialized Turbo Como is a great combination of comfort and performance. This is a fantastic option for those opting to take an electric bike tour up into the hillier areas of Montecito and Mountain Drive. This pedal-assist option has a long battery life so you can maximize the mileage on your tour. The Como has a sportier geometry, while keeping the rider in an upright posture- great for riders who are used to a hybrid/city bike.

Rad Power/Aventon Bikes-
Our Rad Power and Aventon brand of electric bikes all have a throttle for those who prefer a bigger boost to gain momentum into pedaling. The tradeoff is these tend to be on the heavier side. We have a variety of different bike models made by these manufacturers. Some come stocked with a padded seat on the back for carrying another rider, which can be necessary when booking an E Bike tour with kids.
